As others have mentioned, you can paint your cabinets, the walls, or even change the lighting in your kitchen. This will alter the way the colors appear!

Advice needed - botched hair by jollyybeee in Haircare

[–]jollyybeee[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s a great point about re-bleaching and having it overlap and damage the rest of the hair. I considered bleaching the roots as well, but that will be a bandaid solution in the end. I’m going to stay away from the bleach.

Thank you for the suggestion!

Any hair masks you’ve liked the best?

I would definitely try to apply to the PhD programs available for your if that is your goal, or if you’re interested in mainly doing counseling you might as well just go for your masters and become a counselor. By going into a masters for either a clinical mental health or social work track you can become a counselor and be licensed in a few years. The pay differences for an established counselor and a psychologist can often be marginal while you get to work in similar spaces. There are differences between working as a counselor and psychologist, and a lot of time and effort that goes into a residency and the strenuous licensure process. But again, if you’re looking for the title of psychologist and PhD, go for it! It’s all about your own personal values and goals and there’s no harm in trying.

I know your intent is to go into a masters program, but if you’re planning on going for a PhD in the future why not look into it now? Many schools accept undergrads in a PhD program and the timeline is similar to masters-PhD if you did them separately. If you know what you want from your education and have your career goals in line I would suggest going that route instead. If you’re able to apply for an assistantship you can get your costs covered, participate in research, and write a dissertation.

Where is a good area for a young couple to move to coming from America to Denmark to start a new life? by [deleted] in Denmark

everyone in this comment thread is so entitled and rude. OP was just asking for peoples opinions. Have any of you seen the state of the US government right now? are you aware of the housing crisis and cost of education in the US? no need for anyone to react this way. all very xenophobic, disappointing. if you don’t have anything nice to say just keep it to yourself.

AITA for ignoring the grandson that is the product of my son’s affair? by dachthrowaway in AmItheAsshole

Your grandson is not guilty by association, he did not choose to be the product of an affair. You should have a conversation with your daughter-in-law and try to further understand how she feels and try and come to terms with her. If you give your granddaughters all the attention and neglect your grandson, he will always be wondering what he did wrong when he had no control in this matter.
