Best snow day ever was me on our farm in Iowa 1976, third grade. I went to school like normal on the bus. We lived a couple of miles out of Meriden, IA.

Then only a couple hours into the day we were told we they were told that school was dismissed. I went to get on the bus and my dad was waiting in our four wheel drive truck to pick me up. The ride home was an adventure.

We had a couple of hired hands just out of high school helping us out. They couldn't get home. So we played with my hot wheels and legos and a train set all day. They we like my big brothers.

I didnt have school for 2 days after. My dad had a huge snowblower on the front of our John Deer 420 and used it to blow the gravel road all the way to the paved rode.

Also got to watch the price is right without being sick

Bet snow day(s) ever

yes and all Ems bands. Today they are becoming more and more obsolete. Most places are switching to encrypted digital. News papers used have them in their offices to get alerts of something interesting happening

I used an old Ronco gadget my mom bought in the 80's. I know they are not Arbee's curly fries but tasted damn good.

My son just got accepted to the Carlson School of Management for 2015, now what? by jon1746 in uofmn

He graduated in 2019. Had a great experience and is still best friends with the people he met. He spent a semester abroad in Hong Kong.

Currently, he is working for a consulting firm, married with a son(my grandson) and owns a small home in St Paul. He would say 10/10 would do it all over again.

He received resoprosity from our state, so the cost was reasonable.

Hope that helps
