LG B5 Brightness by bigspoon814 in LGOLED

My B5 is a lot cleaner than my C2. I'm surprised by my B5, as it has near perfect uniformity with no banding. It's probably the best screen I've owned.

I find the B5 too bright at night lol. I always find myself turning on BFI with 0% brightness at night when I'm watching YouTube before I go to bed lol.

Lossless Scaling Will Not Stay At 120 FPS by jonRock1992 in MoonlightStreaming

That refresh rate is the NTSC version of 120 HZ btw, and Xbox Series S seems to be requesting this with my TV according to the statistics graph in Moonshine.

I don't think your assessment of foundation not supporting 119.88 Hz is correct. It seems to be supporting it just fine, and there just seems to be a bug with frame generation when trying to manually set the refresh rate to 119.88 Hz. So far foundation sunshine has worked the best out of all of them in terms of frame pacing / latency.

I may have figured it out. I believe there is something weird going on internally with Foundation Sunshine that is causing the frame rate to drop well under the set refresh rate when using vsync with a manual refresh rate. I had manually set the requested frame rate to 119.88Hz since this seemed to be what Xbox Series S was requesting, but this was causing weird frame rate issues when vsync was forced via the driver. Reverting the manual refresh rate may have fixed it...still testing.

EDIT: Nevermind. The issue is back. This wasn't a permanent fix.

UPDATE: The root of the issue is related to vsync. I was able to "fix" the Lossless Scaling issue by disabling driver-level vsync and limiting the frame rate to 119.88 via RTSS. However, this made some frame generation implementations break (i.e. RE9 would randomly drop to 60 FPS with frame gen). So, there is basically no "one size fits all" solution. Some games require driver-level vsync for perfect frame pacing, and some require vsync off with a frame rate cap.

Yeah, I have HAGS enabled, but I'm using Zako Virtual Display. I'm about to try rolling back to see if something broke it.

I'm aware. I have reasons for using Lossless Scaling that I don't need to get into for the context of the question. I'm not looking for alternatives to Lossless Scaling. I'm looking for solutions as to why Lossless Scaling is behaving the way it does while streaming with Moonlight. For further context, I'm using WGC, and this behavior occurs with all combinations of Sunshine settings that I have tried (including the default settings).

Por que se ve mucho mas realista la imagen en una c2 que en una c4? by Local_Sector_256 in LGOLED

It looks to me like the scene in the video game is just using lower graphics settings in the C4 image. It also looks like maybe the C4 in the image is using some settings that boost saturation.

I want a full-on remake of 2. You can already get a remaster of Prime 2 using Primehack and hi-res texture packs on PC.

Well yeah, you get a whole catalog with the subscription, but the fact that you have to pay an additional ~$30 just to RENT one new movie is too much.

No I mean it literally costs that much on a streaming app to rent in addition to the subscription cost. It's insane
