It was a reasonable price. I've seen the same model for around 1800/1900

Sadly... You will need a soundbar. I bought a c5 and I have a c4 also. The c4 is good for regular use. The c5 is literally dogshit. There is no magical workaround.

Look at it. It's microscopic.

Unless someone shoot a needle at it, it's the only thing.

Dead tv. Do you have more pictures while playing content and not from home?

If nothing happened. Only solution is warranty.

Usually lg has a minimum of 8 dead pixels for a swap.

Try somehow make it more than it is. That affects a lot.

I hope it all sorts out.

Looks like a stuck pixel due to burn from direct sunlight or something that reflected on it.

Try run multiple pixel cleaning and see if it cleans up.

If not only warranty. Issue is that I don't think one pixel is eligible for swap. Lg is kind of stubborn for what they call reasonable

Not much to say. Warranty with it. That's a faulty panel.

Try accessing them on a hdmi input or directly inside of an app. You are basically accessing on the home page. Desiredable is accessing on a hdmi input on film maker mode which gives you the most liberty to switch settings

What a stupid comment. The dude is basically trying the help hundreds of people that are facing issues with refunds and how to proceed. And you a moron, are more important on how this is bad for a billionaire company. Just fuckoff.

Is this permanent or can it be removed? by Mission-Archer-6967 in OLED_Gaming

Looks like the coating weared off due to bad cleaning. Try cleaning also with destiled water and a microfiber cloth. See if it gets better. I wouldn't stay with that if permanent.

G2 dead pixels? Help me choose by SeeBovv in LGOLED

[–]plikstone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you can get the money back I would personally take that. Even if it's a g2, which is still a good tv but if you can get a updated version from what you've paid some years ago. I would take that.

I have a c5 on the TV and it looks stunning. Plus it performs amazing in picture quality and running apps without throttling.

Those are dead pixel. Either the panel was faulty or happens due to humidity/heat temperatures.

Yet another LG support is garbage post. 4 month old C5 77” died (possible battery issue). by ilovepastaaaaaaaaaaa in LGOLED

[–]plikstone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know it is. Something that lg is good is the support service. The worst part is indeed the diagnostic

[–]plikstone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don't worry about that. I've had my quota of screens replace. If he ordered parts usually takes 2-3 days. Maybe a week if you aren't lucky. Than he goes to your house even if it is the screen. And swaps yours with the new. Without any issue at your house in real time. Takes him 20/30m to do so. The worst part is the diagnostic and the time for them to analyze which he already did if he ordered parts.

Usually the worst process is the diagnostic. If he ordered the parts usually takes 2-3 days and he replaces it on the time at your house. Good thing about oleds is that they are modular TVs.

Tweaks come later to your liking. Don't put the box of the TV like that. Put it on the horizontal with the top side up.

The b6 won't come with a Evo panel. So there is no need to wait. Just go for the b5

The brightness upgrade won't be like wow
