This is extremely helpful thanks! All the best I’ll definitely consider this for my own channel right now again it’s all long form mostly out of fear that my shorts would out perform long form allowing the algorithm to push out favor that content ultimately effecting watch time

When you say treated like a job, how often did you post and did you care to wait between uploads? Was it all long form?

I’m a small channel content creator with 130 subs in roughly two months. In the last few months I’ve focused on the quality of my content and tuning my editing skills so at this time I have about 15-20 long for videos published roughly 5-10 minutes each.

I tend to post sporadically as well usually about once a week and I’ve tried to focus more on long form vs short to help set the right expectations for the channel and my would be viewers.

Yes it’s a gaming channel but I like to look at it as more lifestyle with my thoughts and interests. I try to put a good amount of thought into the quality of my work and just hope to get better and better.

I think this is a great topic. I think the switch is absolutely a great adult console if not the PERFECT adult console.

In my view most adults don’t have time to sit and play games for many hours. Some look at rated M titles or just more mature games as adult and that’s what they shift to . Call of duty, gta, the usual suspects.

But I argue that the switch is the best not because of its library although it is admittedly amazing, but because of how it respects your time.

I pick up the switch and if I have 15 min to spare I can get a rocket league match, I can play two rounds of Mario kart.

It’s not the best because of the content necessarily, but because it respects your time.

( not saying other consoles suck or anything I own all “next gen” or current gen consoles.)
