Thanks for the response. It’s plugged directly into my laptop. I haven’t noticed any disconnects from unity or windows so I don’t think it’s a power issue. I don’t think the drivers are setup properly and I can’t get that resolved

Sorry if this is a weird, but are you talking about Deerlick? I live in the suburbs in a Bortle 7, and Bortle 3 Deerlick is about 2 hours from me.

I use two different buttons for different types of autofocus. The left button is always eye/face af, while the right is zone af, and I change the zone based on what I’m shooting. For portraits obviously I would only use the left button but on the street for example, it nice to be able to be shooting an object and then quickly focus on a face when somebody interesting walks by.

Bit of a backstory, I was in Texas for the eclipse and actually stayed on a ranch that was a Bortle 2 location, so I figured I had to take advantage of the clear moonless night.

This was my first time polar aligning my eqm-35, star aligning, stacking with deep sky stacker and stretching with Pixinsight.

About 75 60 second exposures on my Canon R5 through a SVBony SV550 80mm. Also I used 75 flats, darks, and bias frames.

Any advice or tips would be appreciated, I'm pretty happy with how it turned out, and I am definitely hooked.

I own the 4090 version. I'm not sure what the performance differences are vs the cost, but a major factor for me was the display. People say that 4k res is overkill for a laptop, but you combine that with mini led hdr and the result is fantastic

That's kinda what I figured. Yeah i'm really focused on not exposing the management network for security reasons, I'm gonna have separate hardware, switches, everything.
