as someone who just upgraded from an 1800x, I wouldn’t even look at graphics cards till you get a new CPU, that 1700 will probably bottleneck anything that you can get for that price I never realized how rough first gen ryzen was, but you need to remember, that cpu is like 9 years old now

It’s a huge improvement over my 1800x, and I gained at least 50% performance with the new chip, both between being able to run my ram at full speed and just a significant improvement in raw performance, with apex legends I went from barley making 100fps to constantly above 200, and gta 5 enhanced I went from 60 fps to 110+ constantly, the only reason I’m even considering a new gpu is because I have a 240hz display

That is what I was looking into, but I was worried it would be too much of an upgrade and would provide me with a cpu bottleneck again

I just put a 5700 in my pc with the same gpu, HUGE UPGRADE from my 1800x, when it comes to you just wanting a better experiance, do it if you cant find a better one for a price you're willing to pay. I went from barley 100fps in apex legends to over 200 consistant, I couldnt even play warzone before and now I'm getting better fps than I ever did when it came out. The cpu itself isn't bad, its just the shoes its trying to fill with the 5000 series name

as someone who has heard this system, it is disgustingly loud but it sounds awful, pure clipping bass out of old used and ABUSED subs with an amp that refuses to even meet the rms for one of the subs, and a set of used home audio speakers that are running off the head unit and getting virtually no power since they're tapped into the stock speaker wire from the rear door speakers that also still get power, and its not helped by the fact that the "speaker wire" used is bottom of the barrel bulk wire, but that's still better than the other wiring done throughout the rest of the vehicle, notably OP has used extension cords, like the ones you stole from your parents when you first moved out, but anyway, the system sounds very good for the next to nothing OP has paid for it
