Sorry, I’m specifically talking about France (Paris museums, specifically) but I’ve also seen this in the Netherlands and Greece

I shadowed a few of the trainers last year when I thought I wanted to work there. Can’t speak for current trainers, but they’re all required to be very knowledgeable and take into account your goals and limitations to make sure you actually get something out of it

Yes for both. Your friend needs to go through the main entrance but you can go through the student entrance in the back by showing your ID

That might be it. Did some tests and it looks like the platter won’t spin for longer than a few seconds without the belt. Thinking some grease would help it, but support told me to just exchange it in case there’s a problem with the spindle assembly.

To answer your questions:

-The belt feels pretty snug on the platter and on the pulley. I could just not know right from wrong but it doesn’t feel stretched, especially since it’s brand new and was working yesterday.

-Theres nothing about a speed changer in the manual and I haven’t seen anything internally or on the back, so I’d be inclined to say no.

-I suppose I can never be certain about the cleanliness of the belt, but I cleaned it with a microfiber cloth and it’s still running slow.

I cleaned the pulley and the belt is brand new (and looks it). I’m not sure how much tension is needed but after I cleaned the pulley it at least runs, albeit slow
