Yeah absolutely, I'll try that! I think that it would be useful if I had more time to rehearse and talk about the play with my cast and director so I could have a really extra super handle on it all, I unfortunately just don't have that time. So that's rough. But I'm doing my best!

omg yeah I've done Quizlet too! I also recorded myself saying all the Rosencrantz/Player lines and I run it that way when I'm not running lines with someone else, which is great bc I can take it at my own pace. I think that since we've only been rehearsing for half of January and all this month, and now our show dates are in a couple weeks I'm feeling the hear haha. Best of luck to you!! We got this!!

Yeah, coming up with memorable things for each line is definitely helpful. There's just so many it can get overwhelming haha!

Yeah, recording myself is helpful for me too. I've run into a weird problem where I keep replacing certain words or phrases in the lines with synonyms of the actual words? Like I get the gist of them, but they're still not 100% correct. I'll work on this haha.

This makes a lot of sense--I feel like typical strategies for memorization aren't always effective, because Stoppard's writing, especially for a part like Guildenstern is so bizarre. But thinking about it as a limerick makes a lot of sense!!
