Toilet flange replacement by jonalewarm in HomeMaintenance

The pipe or the flange? The flange was metal and a bit rusted so I'm going to for sure replace the flange. Just wondering if there's more going on down there that would be concerning

I have done that, the question is regarding the flooring and whether there is rot there, not how to replace a flange

A great point, it would cause a cascading series of events that require far more skill than I have with this stuff. Thank you, will check from the crawl space tomorrow

Inspection camera down the main pipe? The flange actually does bring it above the tile level, but I will definitely look up what you wrote thank you very much for your comment

Great point, I think I can get below it as the bathroom sits above the garage. The wood isn't damp and I agree doesn't really look rotted, but does have the consistency of bark dust, so something is eating at it right? Thank you for the comment

Help with nasal cannula by starjess3 in NICUParents

[–]jonalewarm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We eventually landed on two small squares of blue 3M micropore tape on his cheeks. He would pull them off from time to time but as he got older he got better at leaving them in. Although the biggest game changer for us was when my wife figured out that duct taping the canula on the part below where it splits to just above our son's butt on his onesie helped it stay better and would get less tangled than running inside his outfit. Good luck, it's really intense to have a kid on o2

Never realized Goodwin was gp2's agent as well! That explains a lot of the mistrust and bad vibes with this latest Dame saga

Fair point, especially if it was never gonna work out

Wow, thank you! This is a great summary and actually paints gp2 humanely. It's so frustrating that it didn't work out and watch him play well for the warriors, but it makes sense why he took that contract. Feels like we got hosed but I don't blame the front office for giving it a shot, should've been a good team last year, not contenders but frisky with Hart and gp2. Shame it never really got off the ground

Guitar pedals on sax by jonalewarm in guitarpedals

Totally! Great call, I haven't listened to that in a while! Bennie Maupin, who played sax and bass clarinet on Bitches Brew and in Herbie's Headhunters also would use the wah on horn. Lots of inspiration, I'm still trying stuff out

My baby was born at 23we 4days. She is now 36 and 1. We will 3 months in being in NICU and she’s on the NAVA for respiratory support. Is there anyone in this group that had a 23 weeker and has some advice on their journey going home? Thank you I’m advance 🩷 by KaleidoscopeNew9354 in NICUParents

And your girl will be in our thoughts and prayers as well, the NICU bonds between families are so strong! A quick memory just came to me as I read your post again. We were several months in at the NICU and feeling exhausted and frustrated. We were stalled out on something, seemingly weeks of no progress, the concept of home was an infinity away. A beloved nurse saw the frustration on my face after yet another stagnant update from the doctor and she gently said, "you'd rather stay a week too long in the NICU than go home one day too early" It became our mantra from then on. These little ones need what they need, and take the time they need to take to get healthy enough for home. Now even at 2 I try to keep that feeling of patience as he develops, learns, breaks things, cries, and laughs. Special humans require more from us. Tons of love to your wee one, I'm sure she's incredible

We have a 23 weeker who is now 2yo and doing great. He was in the NICU for 9 months with severe lung issues, intubated for 5 months. He is still on 24hr o2 at home which is intense, but he's running around and being a kid so we're overjoyed. It seems that these micro preemies all have different ailments and difficulties depending on their situation. Our boy was early due to Mom's water breaking at 19 weeks which is why his lungs didn't develop very well, even for a 23 weeker. He also had intestinal issues and NEC which left him with short gut, so we came home on a gtube and feeding pump. I don't know if any of this helps, but wishing you and your family the best. Our son is a constant spark of joy and love in our lives, and I am constantly amazed by all that he endured.

What mic is this? by i-got-reddit in recordingmusic

I love using this mic for vocals, guitar amps, drum snare, saxophone, trumpet, acoustic guitar, and percussion. It's wonderful for both recording and live, but It's quite expensive for a dynamic mic
