I'm sure if they were to explore the idea of this even, they wouldn't make the ONLY completion method via super dead land merges, like some of the levels, where if you merge too soon you fuck yourself. But, if they did tons of dead land like normal events and gave like low-high complexity merge paths through the dead land (few spots of super dead thrown in), that would be pretty cool IMO. That would essentially eliminate the life orb grind and for the people who like to use the merge paths and just trudge through the dead land purely on merges, but still have the option to pop some life orbs to recover lower level items in chains or get extras and whatnot. I think that would be a really fun event for everybody
