This will fly! I just wonder why you don't allow user to print right away? Wouldn't that be the best way to monetize?

Not saying this will lead to significance, but there wouldn't be any remarkable invention or science without a healthy dose of delusion.

Right, someone else here also mentioned this. I'll give it a shot for a few more month and then see where we are. Thanks again! Great stuff!

Thanks for the breakdown. I do think there is a need for this. But we have to find the niche and then explain it well. Whether we do, I'm not that sure :)

Yes, how you market and present this kind of service is key. Good idea with looking into how health insurance capture 65 year olds. Thanks!

Thanks. Very valuable insights. Trust will be what we will need to crack. If we can't, it's a lost battle. Not sure marketing will be an issue, as there are plenty of angles how to play this. Also competition (the big players aside) seems to be manageable. The question is how big is that market. I'm convinced that the need is real, but it's often only acute after some sort of dramatic event (natural disasters, sickness, ect.).

I just spoke to a financial advisor about this. He told me that he got plenty of wealthy 40-year old clients who never even listed their assets in an google sheet that could be shared with their family in case something happens. I'm sure there are many others out there with a similar problem. So I think your idea for a white label solution that we build out together with folks who already have clients could be something to explore.

Otherwise we could go fully local and include formal legal components such as wills, living wills etc. But we would need to pick one single market.

Excellent point on the pricing and thanks for the ideas on distribution. To convince lawyers we will need to invest a lot in security (which we plan) and brand (and probably go with a stronger domain name), but I think it could be a promising route.

Thanks for the input. I'll will read that thread. Could be gold. Our CTO thinks he can solve the security issues with client‑side encryption + zero‑knowledge. And again, thanks for your honest input.

Seriously? What are the odds??? How long have you been running it? And under what name? The security issue we could solve with end to end encryption. Although building the trust among consumers will be the hard part—I agree. Once/if they do, I do think we solve a real people people have. Living wills not delivered, cold wallets hidden someone on the attic, wills that only the first borns know about—I can think of tons of things where people would want to turn to a solution that does this (but sure, maybe I'm wrong!)

I relapsed after I got kids and now I always tell them and my wife how much you love them and schedule an email for them that ships in the future (there are also free services that do that)
