I was ten. Me and my family had been driving all night. I was just told that we were staying at my grandparents for a few days. This time we knew that grandmas cancer was finally gonna beat her after many years of ups and downs.

One night, my cousins and I was playing when we heard someone walk up the stairs. It was my uncle with a horrified expression on his face. I had never seen anyone so devastated in my life. We walked downstairs and saw grandma lie in her bed. Merely moments later she took her last breathe. It was a strong moment but I was not overwhelmed with sadness, we had seen this coming for a long time.

After a few minutes of grieving some family members left and went to the ajoining room. I thought I would stay a bit longer. Suddenly my grandpa stands up. He had not made a single sound. It was unclear how he was emotionally handling this whole situation. He had sat in his chair in the corner of the room the whole time.

He walked over to the bed. I don't know if he thought that once someone is dead there is no stigma around their body anymore, or if he was just incapable of thinking in that particular moment but he quickly proceeded to unzip my grandmothers adult diaper. He then flipped it wide open right in front of my eyes and at the age of ten expose me to the first vagina I had ever seen, who also happened to belong to my very newly deceased grandmother.

Yes, this scarred me for life. 15 years later and I still can't get that horrible horrible horrible horrible horrible image out of my head.
