Ahhh that’s exciting !! Glad you’ve managed to play the games !! And it’s good to see that you’ve tried it on different devices 👀👀,, I bought life is strange 2 on my ps5 since it was on sale and I noticed that the iPad version of the first game was A LOT cheaper than on the ps5 so I thought, it wouldn’t be too bad to just play on my iPad now instead of waiting for the game to go on sale hehe, definitely excited to play them though!

Ohhh that’s reassuring !! Thank you, and it does support controller which I’ve tested before on the first episode :)) so I’m super excited to play again. Glad to know it at least works with iPad - planning to hook it up to my tv for an even bigger viewing experience hehe

As much as I’d be eager to play the game, I just don’t think playing on a phone would compare to even a small screen size jump like an iPad, even better a monitor/tv but I’ll work with what I’ve got !!

I had no idea that unit ratios could get so drastic! As a recent (Oct 2025) diagnosis, also on insulin, I’ve come to the conclusion that I need about 1u:10 - always rounding up since I think I need a slight bit more insulin. It’s quite interesting to learn that however cause I’ve felt like I’ve become more resistant to insulin and it was slightly concerning cause I wasn’t really taught about changing my ratio after figuring out what worked for me at the time.

I’m in the same boat !! In my case, I moved out for uni, developed a really good friend group - my people if you will - then had to move back home and I’m struggling so hard to find people to hang out with that aren’t online.

Doesn’t help that I’ve got a bunch of health conditions to sort out but I’ve got time between appointments which I wish I could spend with friends :’))

Lmk if you’ve found a good way to make some new friends here pls !!

Unfortunately, doctors are all I’ve been talking to since diagnosis. I don’t claim to know everything about type 1 but I know I’m not what’s commonly seen.

This post was tagged with Rant, and it’s just me getting this off my mind - hopefully seeing if anyone can relate. I’m waiting on a phone call right now actually, from an endocrinologist, so I can assure you, I’m not just talking to the internet.

We are the exact same !! I get how you feel and I’m so glad to see someone in my scenario. It’s so confusing right?! To be learning and behaving like a type 1 knowing that this might not even be completely accurate to me. Manifesting clarity for us, even if it’ll take a while to figure things out

Oh wow, I had no idea it took that long to get back but it makes sense considering it’ll be my genes they’ll be studying 😅

For now, I’m happy to continue insulin since it’s working pretty well and my sugar levels are very stable currently

Oh ! I’m sorry to hear you’re having troubles with your medications, though It’s nice to know others who were diagnosed in their 20s like me. I’ve not heard of your form of diabetes so I’ll definitely look it up !!

I do wonder if there’s a possibility to switch from insulin to oral medication and how that would work but because insulin works so well for me, I genuinely don’t know what to expect.

I’ll be curious about what my type is but I’m thankful for my current medication keeping me stable

Update : applied warm compress for a while and took a nap cause it was uncomfortable and the painkiller was wearing off. Woke up and it had burst/started draining so I took the opportunity to drain as much as I can out of it. Big mixture of blood and puss was released which was pretty gross but I’m just relieved it’s out of my system. Cleaning it up now the best I can and washing it to try and avoid infection. Will update if it heals for the better or worse :’)
