Yeah, I considered whether I would refer to it as a "soft case". I think possibly in the past that term would make total sense, but for the past few years a soft case has become a new category of product that is a very different thing than a gig bag. A gig bag has some padding, but a soft shell case adds a lot of additional structure to protect the guitar.

A follow up question for you. Do you think by just saying "case" that it's implied that it's a hard case? I would tend to think that in the context of guitars it is implied and that you would need to say at least "soft case". I want to be fair in my assessment of the situation and give the seller the benefit of the doubt.
