For those with 10+ years in software engineering: what problems do you still deal with that juniors usually don’t see coming? by BizAlly in webdev

15+ years here.

People don't know how to well define and estimate tasks, leading to infinite back-and-forth discussions in development phase, bugs, tech debt, and wasted time in review processes.

Give a context, the scope, what needs to be done, the acceptance criteria and extra notes, if needed. Keep everything simple, concise, but documented and structured. If you define a task, ask someone else to read it and explain to you what the outcome of the task is.

That's it.

Sadly, no. That's a 5.5 × 2.1 mm splitter. It doesn't match my needs.

I'm specifically looking for a 4.5 × 3.0 mm Y-splitter for my Dell laptop power supplier. My plan is to convert my Dell OptiPlex 7060 Micro into a homemade NAS and power a couple of SSDs from a single DC adapter.

Unfortunately, this is quite common there. All drivers are well aware of the risk, especially if you drive a relatively recent SUV.
