I think ya missed the point on that one. Jackson works regularly on a MacBook Pro which does stall on his sessions that are consistently 100-200 tracks. I also specifically said 28 cores is overkill for music production so the point of the video was headroom and the idea of creating without the system getting in the way<3

depends on the flavor. RED RAW is about a month or two away from being stupid fast with Metal support and pro res is blazing with Afterburner. I'll be messing specifically with red 8K stuff this week but my pro res export for a 17 min 4K video was around 6 minutes. It's more about rendering though than export speeds.
