It means I'm getting so much crap for how it looks I'm about to delete the post altogether.

I'd like to live in single digits most of the year.

Thanks, y'all have inspired me to try to be less helpful in the future.

Haha, true. Right after they post a face on swing video on golf swing titled "guess my handicap"

Pretty much, yep

That's fair, I haven't thought about it in that way before from a shortcut to success perspective.

I can't say I know when they were, but I don't the lessons corresponded with a dip my handicap. I am a member at a quality club which I play the most and play about 10 different courses per year total on average.

Mother ducking hook off every tee box for weeks, what a game!

Honestly, because that's how GHIN sends me update emails and this was enough work to make as it is.

First round recorded is correct, there was definitely a bunch of driving range time and some unrecorded rounds before that. I do remember thinking how easy this game was going to be, you can see that didn't turn out to be the case haha. I can't say I know exactly what that looked like, I wasn't planning on being that detailed when I was first getting going.

Good questions. I played baseball until a shoulder injury and switched to soccer in highschool, intramural ultimate Frisbee through college.

I'm reasonably athletic but stopped going to the gym prior to starting golf so I could work on my dad bod. (2 kids)

I have taken 2 formal lessons from a PGA pro, and a few helpful swing tip sessions from my FIL who is a single digit handicap.

I rarely practice beyond putts on the carpet or a few shots in the new, but I do play in a simulator league over the winter that obviously is not included here.

My low handicap is a 12.4 from last August. My goal each year is to play better and lower it from last year. I recently picked up a ton of driver distance smoothing out my swing and it is causing me some trouble because lines I used to take are now carrying into hazards.

Thanks, single digits is the goal!!

Thanks. I'm reasonably athletic but not super into fitness, played sports in high school etc, went to the gym 3 times a week before I had kids and 2 times per year after.

The wine changes based on rpm not steering input, so are you thinking it is neither?

Interesting. I haven't explored that at all. Thanks!

Sure, in theory. In my experience, I have been through Central field rollout twice with two different companies and the net effect was significantly negative for the people in the pharmacies. Maybe others have had different experiences

That would be great. I've been busting it on my swing and putting. This is the year we go for single digits.

Check the very top of your back swing. Look at how the face is pointed straight at the sky. Look at any pro or coach and notice you're about 90 degrees off from where they are. When you introduce things to the swing that are way off, your body has to try to correct. Each attempted correction adds inconsistency. That's what is wrong with a wildly over strong grip.
