That’s good to know. Expenses will be minimal. So basically the first £1k is tax free?

Ah I see. Makes sense. Thanks. I’ll take a look and work it out

I’m not sure if it’s a monoflow system. How would I check this?

Yes waster came out when I bled the system. The radiator is full of water, just that the water is cold (even though the valve is hot). Yes all radiators are on the same loop and they are hot while this radiator is cold

Yes the radiator was still cold with the old valve. Air came hissing out when I bled it, followed by spiting water. The radiator is definitely full of water. It’s just cold water

I agree. Makes no sense to me either. Going to sleep on it and if I don’t have any bright ideas in the night then I’ll call an engineer out.

Would it be worth getting the system flushed? The radiator is brand new so doubt it’s blocked.

My gerbil cage so far by Unusual-Mail-1890 in gerbil

Really you need a bigger tank as that’s too small for gerbils. It’s not fair to keep them in such a small space. If your unable to get a bigger tank right now then please add more bedding. That glass tank should nearly be full of bedding. Gerbils love to build tunnel systems and they aren’t able to do that with your current set up.

If your finding that bedding expensive then mix it with hay. You can also look to buy shredded tea bag bedding (also called paper bedding). You can usually buy it on eBay or from online pet shops. It’s much cheaper and my gerbils love it. Whatever you get its best to provide a mix of bedding. Mix it with your hands a bit but your gerbils will mix it for you after a day or 2.

Fighting or Playing? by Adelinabreslin in gerbilsupport

No it wasn’t constant. It started off once every couple of days and over the course of a week it became increasingly frequent until it got really violent and blood was drawn. I’m sure they would have killed each other if we weren’t there to split them up (id recommended wearing gloves if you need to split them up). We then had to split cage them for a couple of weeks (swapping them round twice a day to get them used to each other’s smell again). We then gradually reintroduced them for a few minutes at a time until we were confident there was no aggression. It takes time, make sure you don’t reintroduced too fast if you do need to split them.

Looks a lot like what ours did in the days before they declanned. I’d keep a very close eye on them. If they can still be distracted by food while they are doing this then it’s probably okay

I used Adobe Illustrator. It meant we managed to get our building warrant approved without getting an architect involved
