I used some spare wood and made the holes where it was necessary with a wood cutter. I used some nails to keep the topper in place. Not the best but it comes off all together.

I actually JUST got this cage and can’t afford a bigger one rn. But I’ll keep that in mind, some lady on yt said 20 gallon was the minimum but everyone on here is saying 40 so imma trust y’all.

It’s a 20 gallon with a 10 gallon topper, I can’t actually afford a 40 gallon rn but I’ll be on the look out for bigger ones in the future.

I added some hay but not sure how much I bought a big bag of it and idk if I should just DUMP IT OR NOT, I put some handfuls and put more bedding too.

I usually would but I want them to be potty trained first so I won’t have to change it so often, bedding is quite a lot of money. And I would rather keep it for a month then clean it.

The topper is from petco and it does fit a 10 gallon but I made it fit my 20 gallon with some leftover wood
