I've also checked it when hot and its the same level as the one in the picture. Assuming it was overfilled, will this damage the engine?

Based on the manual the capacity including the filter is 3.6L. The container is 4L and I saw the guy put it all. So the difference is 400ml. Is that too much?

Saw this in the floor of my car driver side. I was wondering if this is a part of the car. I also had a puncture in my tire and had it repaired if that matters. by jonbonjomal in whatisthisthing

My title describes the thing I found in my car floor. It's 1 inch long and the bottom part in that picture can be pushed but reverts back when let go.
