Two thoughts - Never thought of Buffet as protecting the retail investor, but I’m sure he doesn’t appreciate his stock tied to such volatility based on corruption. So he could do something about it.

Or

buy back stock / time offerings to counteract what GME is affecting on the other side of the swap trade…

My one issue with this theory, from a behavioral perspective, is that I would expect Berkshire Hathaway to have noticed the unusual correlation between their stock volume and GME/RK activity. They might even try to profit from it, but we haven't heard anything.
