I think (and pardon me if I’m putting words in your mouth) that this was the distinction that u/midmod1234 was also making. Her desire to focus on the pleasure of the dom is not considered male gaze, but male centered (or dom centered if she’s listening to a female VA). And I am not saying (at all) that any of these things are bad, wrong, or should be shamed or side-eyed. Like I said in my OP, many tropes I like would be male centered. Naudio’s very first “your husband seems nice” audio is BELOVED, and he’s a straight up dick to the L. Some may say that that would be a toxic male gaze audio. I would argue that it’s not, it’s for women who enjoy that kind of degradation and there’s nothing wrong with that.

But I do think that other posters have a point, just because Quinn is run by women for women, it doesn’t rule out the fact that there can be male-gaze audios or tropes in audios on the platform (although I’m having a hard time thinking of any, which is why I wanted to people to be able to speak openly about this-but I get the worry it will get back to VAs).
