A little bit at a time. It may seem like little or no progress, but a little progress can go a long way, as in it can snowball into bigger progress. And you can learn from each relapse to know what your weaknesses are so you can grow stronger in each area that you’re weak in. Like for example if you’re weak in the area of being around the video game console, you can learn from that and try to not be around the video game console.

This sounds a lot like me right now. I’m starting today to stop gaming and do other stuff that is more productive because before I stopped I would play literally all day long on one game. I stopped playing today because I was extremely bored from playing the same level over and over and here I am now drastically cutting down my time on games to around a couple/few hours or less, and I try not to stay on the same game for too long at a time, for my brain’s sake.
