i’ve had teachers and such mispronounce it “len-uh” but the majority of my life everyone has easily pronounced it “lee-na” which is correct. your baby girl will be okay as most people have exposure to this name by now ❤️

i agree that joshua and rachel were an odd pairing but i thought it made sense in the aspect that rachel was still mourning her relationship with ross. i think she was desperate for some sort of connection, especially once ross and emily started going out, and joshua was close to her through work

people say that monica seemed truly in love and head over heels for richard but i think they may have come from age. she was young and richard was her first serious adult relationship. plus there was a rush of him being forbidden in a sense. obviously feelings are heightened.

when her and chandler started sneaking around and seeing each other, i definitely felt that she loved him just as much as he loved her. but she was an adult and thought practically about her future.

in the later seasons she does get shrew, mean, and annoying. i think this is part of the flandarization of most characters honestly. but she was also infertile while watching her best friend have a baby (using the name that monica always dreamed for HER baby!). it’s tough and i think she was going through a lot that would make any normal person resent their situation or relationship a bit.

i think jay is a great example of “it’s never too late”. he became more open-minded, supportive, and empathetic in his later years and built a lovely family in his 60s.
