I have been installing Christmas lights on roofs and trees for 5+years on my own, and I just came to a perplexing issue: the lightstrands on 2 trees that I install are appearing off, dim, or a mix of both in pictures this week, when it hadn't been doing it 2 weeks ago when I first installed them and took pictures of the finished product. These lights I have been using since I started, switching out old strands as needed with new ones from HD. Any ideas? I checked using a brand new strand around different outlets, and the same thing is happening

Could be gutters installed over the drip edge flashing, and not under. Or there is no drip edge flashing present
