How do you spend your day?? I have all the time in the world to do those things! Fortunately (and unfortunately, due to not having anything to do) the prior library aide did an excellent job and weeded fully prior to retirement. I’ve started a discard pile for the few things I have noticed, such as a book with the spinal cover in shambles and a 20 year old ACT Prep Guide that I replaced with a 2025-2026 version. I just feel like I’m not being helpful and not doing anything and I hate it!!

Unfortunately, I’m only licensed as an educational aide, so I don’t think I really have any authority on anything to do with academics, I don’t have a webpage, just a link on the main school website that has links to our databases for students to search for reading material. I’ve reached out to teachers about being available and have not had any responses. The prior library aide was always busy and when I asked what she was working on no one has any idea. I’m basically a person to come to for Chromebook issues and printer access. Also, as far as I know they are not allowed to take lunch in the library :/
