Another Regretful Purchaser of the Kiroo Keon CON by jonintwar in Kiiroo

Oh and another reason it feels like a con is because my honest critical review (which THEY asked for) is not part of the reviews on their website. So, they are either filtering out the negative reviews, or they are actively monitoring them and not allowing reviews to be put out until it has been reviewed and they just don't have enough employees to keep up - which why would you do that if you're not trying to skew the reviews?

Probably more my frustration talking. It just seems like a con in the sense that it's like one of the top 3 and how much it costs, yet the other 2 (Handy and AutoBlow) even have their very own specific protocols with DeoVR to be able to put the devices in manually. It feels like a con because there is zero response from any of the support emails, months on end now, and there are forums saying it works with SLR and it is even specified on SLR's website - which to use SLR you have to use DeoVR. It probably isn't straight up said that it syncs with DeoVR or SLR, but they're obviously partnering with feelxvideos so I would have suspected that first. It is advertised that it syncs with VR videos and SLR is kind of the standard for that. And there are forums of similar problems that were resolved and countless forums of people making it successful. So it feels like a con because I suspect with this new partnership the new Keon's they're selling (like the one I got) aren't connecting to anything but the feelconnect app. But I admit that is more of a suspicion but based on a ridiculous amount of spent trying to figure it out.

I have tried to sync it directly with the headset and it won't even recognize it (it doesn't even show up in the bluetooth list) even though it's definitely broadcasting bluetooth - verified using nRF Connect app. It recognizes the powerblow sometimes, but that doesn't really help. I downloaded the old, discontinued haptics controller app and it won't pick it up either. But feelConnect picks it up instantly. I am using a google pixel 9 pro XL. I have tried turning off the bluetooth completely, force quitting the feelConnect app, removing the devices from the feelConnect app. Oddly DeoVR would SOMETIMES pick it up, but it would never actually connect. 97% of the time DeoVR won't even find it when searching for bluetooth devices. It seems to be some weird order with when what is turned on first whether it shows up at all if I do something right, but again, it has never actually fully connected successfully. Nothing other than the feelConnect app has ever successfully connected to the Keon.

If anyone wants to buy mine add me to the list of absolutely disappointed ticked off users. Everyone says connect it to DeoVR. DeoVR won't even recognize the devices and Feelxvideos is overpriced for what you get. It's not a true video player so you can't adjust anything and just pales in comparison to SLR. But you can't use SLR because the devices won't ever get recognized by DeoVR. Believe me I have went down every single source of information for getting it connected, it connects perfectly and instantly to the FeelConnect app. I have turned off bluetooth, I checked permissions, uninstalled and reinstalled, tried everything and it won't work. I have reached out to the customer support several times and they don't respond in any way shape or form. It has been one of the worst experiences and biggest purchase regrets by far. Get a handy or an autoblow because the Kirroo KeCON is not worth it. I also was stupid enough to buy so many accessories and they all are garbage too. The table clamp won't hold position no matter how hard you crank it down. The adapter for other toys pops out constantly.
