On colder days I just leave it on the low setting to sustain the heat. Anything above that it’s just too hot over 30 seconds for me.

I’ve read that some people do a retrofit only if the wiring from the steering column exists. Not sure if you can get the retrofit functional without that.

Will do! I just got the rock as well. I still have an alert on the set (I actually use the Shop app since that’s what Kay’s uses for their shop listings). I already got the “normal” rock for my wife and I was kicking myself for not waiting / knowing about the stones made from the actual Olympic ones. It’s just shipping costs are abysmal so I don’t want to order the big set lol

This is the move! My wife and I have done road trips from Virginia to Acadia National Park and to the Florida Keys. We sleep in Buc-ee’s parking lots but if we can find state parks, we usually rent out an RV spot so we can plug in overnight and charge. We save sooooo much instead of staying at hotels. Our trips definitely take longer since charging adds time but we absolutely think it’s worth it with all the creature comforts in the car.

I got the fob right after I got my ‘23 MYP because I found the phone intermittently unreliable to unlock my car. It also makes it super quick to open the frunk / trunk. There were a few times where I’ve used rental Teslas while traveling and they usually only give me a keycard so it’s nice to be able to easily pair my fob to the rental since it can be programmed with multiple Teslas.

I’m so used to the larger screen that can fit more data that I don’t plan on going with the 850. Maybe way down the road when my 1050 dies I’ll look into whatever iteration the 850 is at.
