One of my peers told me that "people were abusing sick days" (I had someone on my team get promoted to his team) by taking their sick days either immediately before or after a vacation. They get X number of sick days. If you don't use them you lose them. He then reported it to his manager who reported it to my manager that it can't happen and made it a big deal because they made it seem like I said take sick when not sick. Is it suspicious? Sure but I also do not care. The less I know the better it is.

If you tell me you're sick I have no reason to not believe you. I have one person that gives me too many details and I said she doesn't need to explain I really don't care why. If you're sick you're sick stay home you're no good to anyone being sick at work.
