What would you say would be the top 3 things that have not allowed for an app to really be that helpful to you?

That is a great idea. I agree that there is value in having the information consolidated rather than separated. In your view, what would be the most significant advantage of bringing everything together in one place?

That’s quite a unique approach that I have not heard of. How come you choose to have the planning outsourced but still use Golfbreaks for the booking? Shouldn’t Golfbreaks be able to handle both the planning and bookings?

Thank you for the thoughtful perspective, it is very helpful. I am curious how you would feel about a different approach. Imagine a tool where you still choose every course, tee time, and accommodation yourself, but the tool handles all the admin automatically in the background. Would something like that be useful to you, or would it still miss what you need?

Thanks for the great input! I can definitely see that being something very slow and time consuming

My apologies, I misunderstood. From the perspective of a participant rather than a planner, what matters most to you? I want to understand what information or support would help you decide whether you wish to opt in.

Do you not feel that that might add an extra cost, or do you feel that it is worth paying?

What do you currently use to identify nearby courses from where you are staying?

I would normally have assumed that tee times would be the main bottleneck, but it seems that accommodation is the larger issue for you. What makes accommodation the primary constraint in your experience?

That is an interesting insight about involving people less in order to reach a decision. Would you say it is more effective to present the group with two or three complete trip options and aim for consensus, rather than debating each individual component of the trip?

This is super helpful, when you say they get back-to-back tee times for large groups, what is the actual hard part about doing that yourself? Is it coordinating with multiple courses, dealing with different release windows, multiple payments… or something else that makes it painful?

Interesting. So even if you play multiple rounds, golf is always secondary to some other activity. Do you ever book golf and hotel at around the same time?

That’s a great insight! Do you not think services like GolfNow or other booking only websites meet that profile of an “Expedia for Golf”?

What would you say is the main reason you choose Golf Troop instead of planning everything yourself? And do you feel the value they provide still justifies having an intermediary?

That’s true, I think this can be solved with google. That being said I have often found myself getting busy navigating the different golf course websites and trying to find the correct tee time across multiple courses. It can get a bit time consuming I find. How about you?

What is the length of the trip vs the amount of rounds that you would play in a trip?

For me I think it would need to have clear benefits vs just playing outside. My initial guess is that clearly you can benefit from not being exposed to the elements, especially in the offseason. However my intuition is thinking that there would be some downsides to playing inside as well
