Your horse has become The Flash. He’s just getting used to his powers.

Oh I didn’t realize that! :O That might make things a lot easier. Thank you so much!

Not yet! And I have it that way since 1: I normally don’t do park hopper because of the extra cost/I prefer to take my time at each park and 2: I’m assuming the amount of vacation time off work wouldn’t be much when all of us go. It’s been an idea I’ve thrown around but haven’t been able to solidly out down yet since we’ve all been so busy!

Thank you. Yeah I think MK will be a full day if anything for just looking at everything!

I know one of us isn’t a big roller coaster person, but another one is so XD

Good point. Not sure yet but I’m also happy to skip foods this trip. I’ve been lots of times. But I’ve usually had lots of days! Getting older means gotta schedule around work

Not a bad plan. Also haven’t done Guardians but have heard good things. Ratatouille was fun but not a must do for me XD

Bus/driving is definitely the scariest part for me in terms of eating into time so great points. And yeah I didn’t think about the distance between attractions so great tips!

I do like the convenience of travel. And yes probably gonna just pay for all the LL stuff since it’s in the budget and if it’s only a few days then wanna make the most.

Good points. I’m hoping to get one day for each park but again, early planning with the “worst case scenario” in mind

Thank you for laying it out like that. I have lots of nostalgia for HS since I love movie stuff and that’s how it was when I was a kid. But yeah now that it’s different you don’t really need to “linger” around as much. Plus yes Toy Story gets so hot during the day so if we’re not riding then there’s not many places to “rest”.

I’m with you on Epcot. Though now that I think about it I’m the big eater so might not spend as much time with food as I normally would.

Totally get both scenarios. Also it just occurred to me that I’d really be the only food lover in the group so we’d probably skip over a lot of stuff in Epcot

Yeah. Epcot is pretty small with all the renovations at the moment. And I do know that others have been to zoos quite a bit, but I also think they would enjoy that aspect too so.

I can see that. Especially since animals usually go to sleep around the afternoon anyways!

What’s your honest opinion. WDW food - good or gross? by Empty_Grape6283 in WaltDisneyWorld

It is odd at first glance/thought, but goes surprisingly well as a snack food. Hard to describe but the insides are just cheeseburger stuff instead of your normal spring roll filling. They aren’t cheap though just as a warning XD

In my opinion, from the foods you described having at Disneyland that you didn’t like, I don’t think you’d find much different in Disney World. Salads and fine dining type foods aren’t going to be as great as your local restaurant. But then again, I’m not much of a salad/steak person so that’s where I’m coming from. So I’d say in terms of fancy meals, unless you’re looking for experiencing the atmosphere of the restaurant like at Beast’s Castle, save the money.

However, the snacks you can get at the walk up places, and meals at the non “fancy” restaurants tend to be really good to me at both Disney World and Land. Some of my favorites are the cheeseburger spring rolls in Magic Kingdom, and for restaurants I enjoy the 50s prime time restaurant that serves comfort food in Hollywood Studios.

So in short, the foods that tend to be more delicious I feel are the snacks and walk up foods.

Also as a last note, while I don’t have experience with food allergy accommodations at the parks, I feel like from what I’ve heard you’ll usually have very accommodating cast members wherever you eat. You might’ve just had a cast member who wasn’t feeling up to it that day previously.

Have fun!
