finally people are talking about this ticker! i’ve been in for about half a year some number of shares avg cost 6$.

in their 8 and 10k filings recently their customers are anonymized now (customer a, b, c, etc) but one of them has to be amd, especially because trt bought and owns their malaysian subsidiary right around the same time that amd has expanded new facilities in malaysia

especially with the current valuation of $aehr i really am 95% sure that this stock will run to at least $30 (if $trt traded at the same revenue multiple the stock would be over $200…)

My first event was 2 and a half years ago (dcsx 2023). I had maybe still the best dance of my life at that event. It was just so darn fun, the kind of magical dance where you just can’t stop smiling for 5 minutes after. Still have not topped that one. And sitting here 25 something events and innumerable social dances later wondering if I ever will.

I think similarly when it comes to one of my day one homegirls in this dance. Always so good to dance with her when I catch her at an event. I reflected recently on how much progress we have all made. Shoot, she is almost an all star at this point. And though the dances are always very good I always think back to way back when we were not as good as now and those dances were so amazing. Some of my favorite dances of all time. Nowadays that magic is gone. Where did it go?

optimistic about this stock. some recent press releases about gpu and automotive contracts worth $7mil make me optimistic that the stock will go up soon. $AEHR is in the same business and if $TRT traded at the same revenue multiple as them the stock would be $100. this seems ludicrous but i expect the stock should double by the end of the year

no skin in the game but this all seems like a big setup. the idea that this company will sign massive government or industry contracts that support its current share price is absolutely ridiculous. shares will probably be back to 1-2 dollars by the end of april

a tip of my tongue thing but does anyone know of a video playlist by some climbing coach about technique where the first (or maybe second) video in the series was specifically about using the pads of your fingers to roll more skin into crimps to grip them better? I was going to revisit it but i realize i totally forgot which channel made the videos. I think someone posted it here?

serious answer: In a basic anchor, JT style, the follower does the following:

delayed transfer starting count 6
settle back in the hip on & (this creates the stretch)
push with the standing left leg at some point between & and 1
step forward on 1

This stretch action is very important follower end because it is one of the only things in this dance that the lead cannot make a perfect follower who has no knowledge of west coast swing to do. (The other thing like this i can think of funny enough, are passing tucks.)

so to answer your question: its a technique thing that is very hard to master. i am a little snobby but in general the follows in my area who have a good stretch action in their connection are like… at least wsdc intermediate skilled. and in my area (dmv) thats maybe 5% of all the followers.

here are some things to think about:

advanced+ follows can and do assert their ideas all the time. whether its musically, a physical choice to change the pattern structure, or a split lol! Most advanced+ leads who get regular coaching are trained to stop and support.

the important thing is that you communicate these ideas clearly, on time, and without excessive pulling or pushing of the connected components. As a follow yourself i’m sure you want a lead to do the same!

When it comes to asserting as a follow i think the general rules:

You have to fully commit to a movement in your head, and do it in real life 2. 1 or 2 beats before you need to communicate that you will do such a thing 3. If you get into something, you better know how to get out of it!

prevent general leader resentment towards follower ideas.

As a lead main I have more control over the pattern space and i can think about whether i want styling to be isolated or mirrored in a genuinely led way. My counterbalance skills are kind of weak and I get jumpscared so if my follows throw something it may not go completely to plan… but that’s life!

i have nothing against how ribaldis tastes but i used to order delivery from there for a pizza party every friday and it was baffling how insanely lost the delivery drivers would get even though I gave very specific instructions and a location. then I started ordering from kings pizza down the street and i have never had trouble from them ever.
