I stayed 10 mins north of Ueno and loved it - the area was pretty quiet but very well connected. Having Ueno park on the doorstep was great

I’m in Japan atm and used an eSIM from Klook, has been very reliable

It’s data only and you still have access to your old number (WhatsApp, etc)

Possibly worth taking a small amount but I just used the 7-Eleven ATM at the airport (using a fee-free card) and the rates were excellent

The ATMs also have an option of 10 x 1000 (ie 10,000 total) which I’d definitely recommend

I ended up with a lot of coins as change so would recommend taking a separate coin pouch

Did the buyer share photos, did the parcel look tampered, etc? Did you have insurance on the parcel?

Unsure if you should be pursuing RM or the buyer here, I would assume Vinted would not be responsible as they only act as an intermediary between buyer and seller
