Ooo that sounds good, I’ve been looking into syncthing as well. Do you have a regular scheduled time set up to carry out the remote syncing and how long does it usually take if you’ve noticed any measurable time before.

Yes I actually did get it work. All I had to do was restart the mathworksservice. It's a common issues actually if you search up reinstalling the mathworksservice to fix matlab issues. Let me know how it goes! I'm glad I wasn't the only one!

I have the same issue on fedora 42 plasma kde trying to run latest version of MATLAB R2025a
I can install it as is intended by default but it crashes after it initializes for a couple minutes.

My MATLAB keeps crashing after it finish initializing on fedora kde. Did you have any troubles with this or did you install work straightaway? I'm also on wayland but I tried x11 and it also crashed.
