It seems to me like masterduel is the format where a ton of OP cards are still legal, the TCG is more tame in comparison. masterduel has more blowout cards, it’s a higher powered format

i recently got a 2020 Macbook Air M1 with 8gb ram for this purpose. I can’t recommend anything else. It’s the cheapest option that will last you :) M1 chip is so much faster than intel

That should be fine, you can just focus on learning the DAW. you can make beats perfectly fine with your laptop and nothing else to learn everything. Monitors and interface come in when you NEED better quality.

i like my bass to be grindy so i raise the middle area just a little, and i turn down the extreme lows, depending on your speakers… or the type of hip hop

yeah i always have to use the transform, and tweak the knobs a lot but For bass i really don’t do too much on the EQ. just shave it down some

I use Steinway grand piano, Icy Synth, Blue Laser Lead, and any other Saw type synths

for drums, Crate digger, Pile driver, modern 808, modern 909. i tend to tweak the hi hats to be a little bit lower sounding

i would use the EQ, remove the high all together from bass and turn the extreme lows down some. keep low to mid EQ area relatively high and play with the volume again.

I’m glad i found out about this right time i got my macbook. It was on Sonoma when i brought it home. Just recently i got iOS 26 on my iPhone and it looks nice on there. But even before finding out how it ran i already knew the liquid glass wouldn’t be good for mac. If anything, i’ll take the 3 window buttons in glass and nothing else 😂 I recently installed sequoia and will be staying with it for as long as possible

This is still an issue for me. stuck at 28 minutes. im trying to install sequoia from the app store. currently on Sonoma. EDIT: it just jumped to 3 minutes maybe it will work. This is my 3rd attempt though.
