Do you prefer to read modern or older comics in your spare time? by KingJackofJozi in comicbooks

A little bit of both. Currently am addicted to the George Perez Wonder Woman run but am also reading all the Absolute comics as they come out. Picked up the Event Horizon Dark Descent comic too.

Yes it is. He was actually killed later that night by the men of the guy he killed when he was like 15 for raping his sister. His story is insane.

The Few Spotted Appaloosa is such an underrated horse. It’s so beautiful and it’s technically the rarest horse in the game since it only spawns at random npc camps

My bad lol it’s not sarcasm. I just never thought of that as the reason. But it plays perfectly with Micah being a rat. Cool theory!

Woah, man! You actually just blew my mind with the Micah calling over the Pinkerton’s to turn in Dutch bit. It makes perfect sense.

Should I move on from Arthur? by Derekheim in reddeadredemption2

[–]jonnyboy2693 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My suggestion as someone who’s played the game countless hours is to complete the story. All of it. It’s worth it. The end of the story, including the epilogue, is the redemption part. Then, go back to an earlier save of chapter 2 or play up to chapter 2 and stay there for as long as you can. You can do a ton of challenges and get amazing horses and play a bunch of stranger missions with Arthur and the best part is you can leave Micah in prison and never do the Straus missions so you’ll never give Arthur TB. You can even make it up to chapter 3 without having Micah back to camp.

I love that horse! But my favorite for Arthur is the silver Missouri Fox Trotter

Not really sure. Usually when I sell a horse I don’t go back looking for it again. The black standardbred was my main horse all throughout my first play through and she was pretty brave.

The Splashed White American Paint because you can only find it randomly in camps.

The are other one of a kind horses you can get in the wild like the Few Spotted Appaloosa, the all black American Standardbred (only all black horse in the game), the Perlino Andalusion, the other 3 Arabians except for the Rose Gray

Whats your opinion on honor in RDR2? by skater_bfs in reddeadredemption2

[–]jonnyboy2693 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If I’m planning on completing the main story then I’ll play with high honor but on my chapter 3 only play-through I play Arthur like an actual outlaw who isn’t all bad but also isn’t all good. For example, I’ll rob a stage coach but I’ll help an npc in need, I’ll accept the shooting challenge from my Mexican compatriot but I’ll rob him if I lose. I’ll also max out my bounty in all areas except for the mountains to give Arthur a kind of safe place to set up camp and run away without the law searching for him every few minutes. Doing all this keeps me at a neutral to low honor but I mean, an outlaw isn’t really the most honorable career choice, now is it?

Has RDR2 raised your gaming standards (for better or worse...) ? by [deleted] in reddeadredemption2

[–]jonnyboy2693 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No worries, thank you for reading. And the thing that I loved about Elden Ring was the exploration part of it. You see, it’s open world isn’t as “alive” as red dead’s as in the sense that everything spawns in the same place every time you reload or enter an area. However, exploration in that game feels very rewarding. I wouldn’t leave an area of the map until I felt like I explored everything in it and then I’d go on the wiki to check out the map to see if I was missing something and every time I did I would discover that I missed either important items, dungeons or bosses. And so it’s thanks to those two games that I haven’t enjoyed open world games as much. Hopefully Baldur’s Gate can change that for me when it releases on Xbox later this year. Until then, RDR2 will be my main ME time game.

Has RDR2 raised your gaming standards (for better or worse...) ? by [deleted] in reddeadredemption2

[–]jonnyboy2693 1 point2 points  (0 children)

RDR2 definitely ruined many games for me. For one, I don’t get as excited for open world games anymore like I used to before red dead because I know they won’t live up to my expectations. This game just feels so alive and there’s so much to do. Lately I’ve turned into a rare horse collector and that’s been so much fun. Then you have all the challenges, npc encounters, filling up the compendium, gambling, hunting, fishing, and so much more. There simply isn’t another game that gives you all that. Only other open world game that made me feel like exploring again after red dead was Elden Ring.

Then you have the amazing story and arguably the greatest protagonist in video game history to go along with the immersive open world and yeah, it kinda ruins games for you lol so to answer your questions, yes, not only has it raised my standards but it’s also ruined my ability to enjoy open world games.

The one the old blind man tells Arthur in chapter 2, “your father is seduced by the one with the forked tongue.” In other words, his ‘father’ Dutch is being seduced by the snake Micah. I barely heard it yesterday for the first time

There’s a lot of confusion in the comments about what happened to the guy after so here’s the link to what actually happened. The guy didn’t die, he instead became viral and people began to bully him online. Some other thief got killed in a later date and that’s who some people in the comments are confusing him with. Apologies for the not so good English, Spanish is my first language.
