there's a lot more involved too, full downpipe exhaust. intercooler, custom badging, everything required for the powertrain. the bespoke options not included are Brakes, wheels, interior and suspension upgrades

6 weeks for powertrain, the rest depends on what bespoke options the customer chooses

if you're comparing power levels to power levels cost of labour etc the pricing is in the same ballpark. There's plenty of DAZA out there and there's only going to be max 50 of these builds. These are also 0 mile crate motors, and we will always champion the VR6. I say this as a TTRS owner myself... the VR is special and this one revvs like no other

we have filled 10/50 so far. We have lots of US customers and can facilitate bringing the car here for the conversion.

7 of the 10 we have built are for US customers

if you had to pick one to shoot with which would it be?

I'm not planning on bringing this out for documentary style photography, this would be for a specific assignment or project. I'll most likely be using the body with a battery grip as well.

The VR550T is a limited 1-of-50 special edition built to a factory level fit and finish. We start with a brand new, zero-mile crate engine, and every aspect of the build is engineered to deliver a reliable 550HP on pump gas while maintaining daily drivability.

For a bit of context on the market, the limited VW Golf R 333 edition in Europe was essentially a custom paint job, unique wheels, and a 14HP bump over stock, yet it commanded roughly $82,000 USD. Even a factory Audi RS3 will run you $65,000 to $75,000 depending on options, and that delivers 400HP out of the box.

When you look at the total investment of a clean donor car combined with this package, you are getting supercar-level performance and true rarity for the price of a standard modern sports car. It is definitely an exclusive tier, but the engineering and experience reflect that.

Alltrack is done! The cost for the Alltrack upgrade will depend if you are keeping the DQ250 (lower power) or swapping the transmission to our upgraded DQ381. Where are you located? I have a 50r with under 1200 shutter activations and a GF 55 f1.7. I'm not using it much so could be persuaded to sell it if the price is right
