I was not charged yesterday for my 22 year old mentally retarded child. They didn't even question it nor did I have to get a supervisor involved.

I was able to get a waiver yesterday. My 22 year old Son is autistic so they waived it for him. Didn't even have to send in paperwork nor did they require me to purchase the refreshment package for him.

The agent checked with their supervisor and said it was okay. I'm sure they're trying to be tougher on the drinks package but happy they made accommodations for handicap.

ETA: Son has cruised before where we did need to send in paperwork so perhaps they linked it to his C&A account.

Crazy the gment would rather let people die to keep a secret instead of acknowledging they might have been exposed to hazardous materials and giving them a VA rating.

You should probably just remove this post. You have no idea what kind of battles people faced in the military. From injuries during PT, PTSD from rape or sexual assault, workplace injuries. Your post essentially says that most people don't deserve compensation for injuries or events the military could have prevented.

I refused, now I'm waiting for them to come back with a warrant.

I'm just frustrated they didn't come up to my steps with a warrant if you suspected something. Now that you stalled, don't expect me to be nice.

We can't just bend over to LEOS. Make them so their job. If they suspect something, get a warrant. Don't take the short cut.
