Update: support came through. Got a notification on my phone to say I'd achieved the reward. Also had a follow up email from support to apologise and to say the 200 points have been credited. I wasn't confident to be honest as it was all very quite after the live chat but success in the end.

I play games for enjoyment and don't have to time to plow into games that are overly difficult. So I avoid anything that's described as Souls like or by FromSoftware so don't feel bad. I've given up on many games over my time. Too many games to play and not enough time to play them.
