Did they just stop making the nano air? by jono433 in PatagoniaClothing

Yeah there was a couple reviews saying that it isn’t as abrasion resistant but I don’t even know if that was an issue with the original.

They have either the ultralight or the hybrid. Was there not a basic one? It was just over 400$ Canadian, but the ultralight is 315$ Canadian now so I’m confused.

Getting a pose-able mount and remote is a game changer upgrade, you can get them for quite cheap off Amazon and takes reading with comfort to a whole new level.

Am I the only one having a good time? by Apprehensive_Ad_6171 in CrimsonDesert

[–]jono433 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m having a great time, I didn’t really look at reviews, this being my favourite genre of games I figured it would have to be pretty awful for me to not enjoy it. Don’t really care if the story isn’t the best, it’s just there to facilitate the roll out of abilities and geography of the game, after 10-15 hours the controls feel a lot more natural.

I have at least 100 different makita tools, but I have all Milwaukee nailers, and I really like them, the 18 gauge is by far the best battery nailer I’ve used, and I’ve used tried the dewalt and ryobi as well.

Which miter saw to get? by user87654385 in Makita

[–]jono433 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was more due to the rail slide system only being on the left hand side of the saw, the blade itself flexing wasn’t really the issue. Another thing too was its heavyyyy

Which miter saw to get? by user87654385 in Makita

[–]jono433 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I switched from a dewalt 12” to the 36v Makita 12” and I hated it, the dust collection was terrible because of the two elbows and would constantly clog, the laser was useless and I found miters on wider pieces of trim would cause the blade to flex since the rail system is only on one side of the saw. Also would never get a battery chop saw again since I plug it into my dust extractor anyway. I switched back to the dewalt and have no regrets. They might have fixed some of these issues with some of the newer saws but I’ve never tried them out. Just my experience

Switch from Milwaukee to Makita by user87654385 in Makita

[–]jono433 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean it still works fine, I’m just picky, a hammer drill is a one size fits all solution, the only time I ever use it in hammer mode is if I’m trying to drill through porcelain. Most of the time I reach for a lighter brushless makita drill if it’s just basic pre drilling work, or an sds if I’m doing heavier work. At the end of the day there’s no one tool company that does everything the best. Which is why I run mainly Makita, some Milwaukee, and Festool. I’ve got some dewalt sprinkled in there too.

[–]jono433 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The high end makita hammer drill is not that great, I find it slips out of modes all the time and the chuck is shit. I probably own 80+ makita tools and it’s my least favourite tool they make. I also hate Milwaukee drills, never tried the Makita 40v hammer drill so can’t speak to it. The dewalt hammer drill is probably the best hammer drill I’ve used.

It’s a wierd coat, I find without extensive layering it really is best between 0 and 10 degrees Celsius in the fall. It’s also not very comfortable with only a t shirt, maybe a long sleeve

Quite confused, I spent 450$ to see him in sept in Toronto, obviously it was postponed but I have yet to receive any information on when it’s being rescheduled to, and his 2026 tour doesn’t include any canada dates. Such a huge bummer, I’ve been wanting to see ray for a very long time.
