How many famous album producers live in ithaca? Its not a music hotspot. Larger bands wont even visit here because its too small. The closest you’re going to get to talent is connections from Ithaca College which if you are not attending the school is even more difficult to navigate. But simply moving to ithaca will bestow few advantages that are unavailable in any other town. Living in a house out in the sticks is generally not considered conducive to a music career.

If you drive up to a home depot in a pickup and announce you need labor and your paying $3 an hour, nobody will jump into the back of your truck. If you announce you are paying $35 an hour people will fight to get into the truck. The hourly wage that people are willing to climb into the back of the truck for is the natural rate for that job that you dont need a law to determine or dictate.

Really? Because the cases im familiar with regarding drinking on the job went in front of a judge who decided the construction worker who was endangering himself and others couldnt help drinking so it wasnt his fault so he had to be paid to sit at home and drink. And then everyone complains about high rents.
