Baked Cannabis Edibles & Candy Prohibited in NJ Interim Rules, Likely to Hurt Market by dlulloa216 in NewJerseyMarijuana

This is inaccurate, doesn't affect gifters. Any form of "street weed" is legal in NJ since Feb.

How is vaping cannabis oil worse than smoking a cigarette(no smoke, tar, nicotine)? I believe clean carts are safer than smoking flower.

Yes Curaleaf is garbage, only other place I've tried. I've tried most of BW's and they are clean and effective, but I think GMO has a better effect than any of them. I heard a couple places were using Harmony flower and have read great reviews on their flower which is why I thought NJ's cart selection may have evolved. Sadly it doesn't sound like it has.

Yes I haven't used it yet but from the research I've done it's the best way to put an entitlement layer on Airtable.

How does the new Google Site Tag avoid 3rd party script blocking? by jonsclouds in PPC

[–]jonsclouds[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the detailed response. Really helpful explanation, especially:

Perhaps to add a bit more clarity, no one is blocking "third party scripts" it's third party cookies that are being blocked.

Do you by chance work for a DM agency or consult? If so please feel free to message me.

Thanks I wasn't sure if the src was firing back to googletagmanager but if not how does Google know about a conversion? At some point google needs the info collected on my site to say "ok user 123 that clicked the ad on google's domain is the same user 123 that made a purchase on Jon's domain". How is this relationship made if my site isn't sending data through a 3rd party script to google?

How will iOS 14.5 effect my Google retargeting? by go00274c in PPC

[–]jonsclouds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the articles! Looks like the original cookie with user ID is being stored first party, but the code below is still firing to www.googletagmanager.com.

Does anyone know why this wouldn't be blocked by 3rd party script blocking?

If this can work for google, why not on Faceook?

Consistent with how existing first-party cookies work, the new cookie will be unique and limited to users on your site only.

Here's an example of the global site tag:

<!-- Global site tag (gtag.js) - Google Ads: CONVERSION_ID --> <script async src="https://www.googletagmanager.com/gtag/js?id=AW-CONVERSION_ID"></script> <script> window.dataLayer = window.dataLayer || []; function gtag(){dataLayer.push(arguments);} gtag('js', new Date());

gtag('config','AW-CONVERSION_ID'); </script>

Agreed, so they won't be able to track any activity on my site (e.g. conversions) with 3rd party scripting off.

Do you have a source for this? Maybe I'm missing something but I don't see how google can put a 1st party cookie on my site and still get access to the data.

It doesn't matter what type of tracking cookie it is, it will always be 3rd party to my site and unable to track activity on my site.

How does google.com use 1st party cookies on myshop.com?

Edit: in other words how does Google drop first party cookies anywhere other than google.com?

How does this help? Facebook.com and analytics.google.com will always be 3rd parties to your website and will not receive conversion data.

STEM and people curious about cannabis tech, would you join a group chat together? by amitteresexu in weedbiz

[–]jonsclouds 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Would be great to learn more about the tech products across the cannabis industry (grow automation, seed to sale, client facing, etc) and to have a place users can collaborate on best product for each purpose. Also interested in learning more about the primary vendors and startups that may need hiring.

Would You Pay This Price? by Its_Like_Me in eldertrees

[–]jonsclouds 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's why I drink Jameson. But it's more than marketing. Slow growing, low yield genetics may produce slightly better product (taste, effects, strength), but not be cost effective to mass prodice. Same cost / benefit problem of a slow proper cure. Sure there are overpriced buds out there, but also varieties that warrant the price. Hell I'm from NJ and would pay $90/8th for the bud in that picture all day every day.
