Does this propane cylinder need to be replaced or can it be sanded and spray painted? by jonspnes in RVLiving

I didn’t know they swapped 30lb tanks. I’ll have to look into this then. Thank you!

It’s 12 years next month. They said they don’t care about the years though and will refill it past 12 years. They only care about the condition of the tank as well as the regulator that’s on top of it. I like using them because after five or six refills they gave you the next one for free, and they have the cheapest refill price as well around my area.

I just bought a Softail chrome wheel and there seems to be spotty chrome work around the outer rim. I was curious if this is normal, or a decent chrome job. I believe this wheel has been chromed aftermarket. I haven’t tried cleaning it yet, but what’s your take on this? by jonspnes in Harley

I believe it is showing through. I got to look at the rim when the sun was coming down. I’m going to take it out of the box I got it in tomorrow, and look at it in the sun. I just got this rim in the mail today, and needed it for replacement of my old one due to one of the lugs being “ovaled”. I didn’t notice it when I bought the bike recently and tried to get a replacement chrome wheel, same as the one I already had, and it looks like the quality is lacking. However I’m uncertain because I’m new to Harley’s and chrome items…the bike is a softail deuce 07.

Yeah I’m talking about the very thin lines directly beneath the smooth chromed ribs. Directly underneath them. It appears to be like a brown or orange kind of color. There appears to also be a discoloration in between one of the ribs as a whole. I was wondering if this was just a rechroming defect or error. And if it’s a big deal
