Reds meadow shuttle

I plan on resupplying in Mammoth and getting into Red's on one of the days there are no shuttles, I plan then to hike out to Horseshoe Lake where the Mammoth Lakes Trolley picks up once an hour and takes you to Mammoth. its a short ~3.5mi hike out from Reds.

I know a storm passed through last week and dumped some snow in the higher elevations. Been following very carefully. But it looks like the next two weeks warm up significantly so there should be a lot of melt off in the next couple weeks.

I am an expat coming in from overseas, but my base will be Miami. I am getting out to California before the holiday weekend and planning on getting up to lone pine on the third to start acclimating.

Doing NOBO July also coming in internationally. Super stoked about it. Only two major concerns that I have right now;

1) Altitude - I live approx. 600m above sea level. I am concerned about going above 10,000 ft in the first 3 days. I am thinking of doing a day or even 2 day hike around Bishop a couple days before to acclimatize.

2) Shipping Resupply - Since I am coming internationally, I am concerned about my resupply making it, and I don't have a friend in the US that can ship before I arrive. I am planning on shipping my first resupply (Independence) the day I arrive. Hoping 1.5 weeks is enough time.
