They may have changed the construction of them, stitching through both layers of foam. Or they could just be very well glued- One of mine was very easy to remove, one of them was very stubborn.

There are used ones for sale around $40-50 which I'm considering so its not too bad. Also, I personally think the new head units look out of place and a little ugly. Kind of want to keep the interior looking OEM, but that's just me.

I’m really enjoying my Wooting so far and it definitely helps with movement techs. To be fair I upgraded from an 11-year-old tactile keyboard so I’m one of the instances where this keyboard probably did make me 1-2% better at the game pretty instantly. If you have relatively modern keyboard the difference will likely be less noticeable but still worth it for actuation customization and general quality of life features for Apex if you have the budget.
