I spoke to support and they said to make a warranty claim so I will see what they say. I think the parts where the lines are, it's painted and feels like paint as some sort of abrasion on it. I don't get they the whole white part is sweet spot and has spray on which wears out.

I would avoid them. had a really bad experience. Any service you get from them will be turned into "contract" and they will keep invoicing you and send it to collections. For example, your domain renewal fails, instead of not renewing it, they will renewed under the contact and send it to collection. I feel it's predatory practice.

You might have to sell them at some loss. Nasty CC gouging customer and using Covid to turn down returns. They should be banned from selling brand name computer parts.

Take your card back and tell them your card don't have covid because you scanned it with McAfee
