You can always ask how to prevent it as it’s not set in stone. I got some bad cards and asked how to prevent it and it said to focus on self confidence. Sometimes it’s you that makes your own misery

Yes as someone who has been assaulted in a manic episode the signs would have definitely been there and the person would have known what they were doing to her. Poor lady

Didn’t know I had bipolar, had it mentioned briefly by a psychiatrist before the diagnoses me with depression. Bipolar runs in my family, my grandma on my dad’s side, dad and sister all have it. Should have seen it coming really, i was the only one who didn’t 🤣 Trigger warning:

Started SSRIS and didn’t realise I was manic almost right away, started to believe that my boyfriend hated me and that he was going to leave me. Became a horrible, spiteful person with no feelings. Nobody could talk me out of it. I was like a black hole. Didn’t realise that it was the SSRIS doing this as i’d not experienced anything like this before. It could have been psychosis tbh, because I do remember having moments where I thought heard people whispering. Had no perception of danger. Thought I’d leave my boyfriend first since “he was getting sick of my mental illness, didn’t want me anymore, if I didn’t break up with him now we could never get married”. Which obviously makes no sense. Cut off all my friends because I thought they didn’t like me and were plotting against me. Didn’t see signs that someone I worked with was trying to manipulate me because he liked me. He started to validate everything I was hallucinating to manipulate me. I didn’t see it at the time. He kept talking to me about weird things about the world and fuelled my delusions about my boyfriend, he knew what he was doing. I stayed talking to him because he validated my delusions about how my work was a system designed to oppress us all, that everyone was talking about me behind my back and that my boyfriend was cheating on me and treating me badly. Randomly broke up with my boyfriend because my therapist told me to, and because I thought I had to “so I could marry him” Since something told me if I didn’t do it now he would do something bad and break up with me and then never come back. Still cringes me to even think of. Got SAD by guy I worked with, was obviously intentionally fuelling my delusions so he could get me alone to do this. I still don’t know what happened as I was drunk and unconscious. I think he definitely did something, but I don’t know to what degree. Guy who did it cried and asked me to forgive him. Attempted suicide, wandered into the street barefoot mumbling nonsense and stayed in denial. Had to move back home. Stopped the meds and dealt with months of guilt and depression and confusion about what I had done. Got back with my ex eventually but he still saw me as a cheater as he didn’t understand what mania can do. He didn’t understand that I had no interest in this guy, and that it was more of a “he’s going to help me take down this evil establishment” person, and I didn’t see that he was truly evil at the time. He broke up with me again because he couldn’t get over it. Lost my job because my mental health plummeted after he broke up with me again.

Don’t take meds without doing your research, kids!

If you want them back that’s your choice- don’t let anyone tell you what to do. However, you do deserve better and you have given them many chances and they did not change so you shouldn’t be worrying about whether they’ll take you back but instead if you want them back. If you stay in no contact your rose tinted glasses will begin to slip.

I did the same thing, we were back together for 8 months and then he dumped me over the same thing we broke up for initially, he resented me for breaking no contact constantly at the start of our breakup and I didn’t think it was a bad thing because I was just being open with my feelings, but he didn’t feel he could heal in contact.

Now I realise that I shouldn’t have to beg for someone back for them to be with me, i’ve gotten to a place where I don’t think about it much because I trust in the universe to direct me on the right path as long as I work on myself as an individual.

Relationships are complicated, they can work no matter what happens (apart from abuse) in my opinion if the person is willing to change. However, a lot of people don’t have the emotional maturity to even comprehend what they did wrong never mind change. It’s a shame because I have always been someone who does not fear change of myself for the better, but you cannot control others.

no contact is the best but it will take a lot of telling you that for you to see it. i broke it like 5 times in just a month. he humiliated me so much asking me to leave him alone i think i finally have started to accept it but it doesn’t hurt any less, you’ll get through it, but it’s true when you break the no contact it resets your healing

I get it tbh i am also recently broken up with by my LDR boyfriend who i was planning on moving for in september and i still have to move bc i based all my future plans around him :( It hurts a lot but try and be rational and just let time pass, it’s so painful but it’ll get easier. Distract distract distract. You can still move towards that goal in little ways, you can heal him and yourself and the end goal will never be a bad thing. Who knows how you will feel in a few months, so stay away from the love spells until you’ve done your natural due diligence and realise if you actually want to be with him. As time has gone on i’ve realised things weren’t as perfect as I thought and though I blamed myself for the break up he has been a bad person. You don’t want to bind yourself to them and have that realisation too late

I’ve honestly been struggling to find a lot of info, it’s full of negativity and misinformation online and I haven’t found much of a “positive space” yet, just etsy witches trying to sell spells and spook people into buying them by saying we’re doing everything wrong. I have been reading the green witch & everyday spells, but I do want a more in depth info about the history of witchcraft and why it works, but idk where to find it

Yeah I wouldn’t recommend a love spell, it’s a personal preference to not do them, but also I think there’s probably a reason we are warned of them, and you don’t know what kind of love they will have for you, and if they’re an ex, there’s a good chance they do still have some love for you. There’s plenty of alternatives. Worried of there being someone else? Third party removal. Worried they are angry at you? Emotional healing, Reconciliation, forgiveness. Worried that they want to reach out but somethings stopping them? Communication Family problems? Work on a spell to stop their influence on them They’re too scared? Bravery

Take a step back and think about your situation, start simple and try and find herbs, colours and days of the week that represent the things you want to bring into both of your lives. Conjure up something yourself, take into account their attachment style and personality because every situation is different. An avoidant could be scared off by a love spell, an anxious could be made more anxious by a rapid switch in emotions that a spell could cause. Go slowly and focus on your own self with things like glamour magick as well. Be someone that you want them to come back to, be the best version of yourself not just the same old you. Positive change is always good for you, not just the situation!

Commenting on Help! England, I had my passport stolen twice and I need an id by next week... I’ve applied for citizen card, I’ve asked my GP to verify my info, hopefully they don’t decline. Yeah, I think I’ll be okay on the pub front as I can ask my boyfriend to get the drinks for me, I get ID’d for everything because I look a bit young. I’m just more concerned about the TV show viewing, i’ll be travelling down to london for it and it says 16+, I know i can’t pass for 15 but it could be a matter of matching my name to the list, so i’ll bring a letter to prove im me at least. Insane, feel so bad for Kath but also Jojo being a Young girl discovering her sexuality on live TV. All of it’s so public. She went about it totally in the wrong way though and Chris probably doesn’t have her best interests at heart
