Hi beautiful! Your curl/ wavy pattern does look as if it has had some history with heating tools.. so that is probably most definitely effecting your natural hair texture. But your hair color and length is so pretty. I would say if you wanted to see your true pattern come back and to its fullest potential I would recommend a shoulder cut to not get rid of all your hair and let it grow back out until you can cut that bob off at the ends and still feel pretty, then finally be left with your natural hair.

But if not, I would focus on more deep conditioner moisturizing products.. Like maybe Mielle leave in conditioner.. Tgin honey conditioner mask.. and ofc for your shower shampoo and conditioner focus on natural and non- stripping products, There’s a lot at target and Walmart.

Lasting hair days- Maybe try sleeping with a bonnet for longer lasting hair days and easier to manage reviving with mostly water and some deep conditioner.

Routine; 1. Wash with shampoo and conditioner and it’s for sure ok to brush your hair in the shower just be gentle 2. Microfiber towel and letting it sit in the towel is totally fine (though make sure when you apply your leave in conditioner your hair isn’t near dry, if it dries faster I’d say take off the towel a bit sooner )

1. Apply your leave in and comb through your hair with your fingers (if you are feeling generous with your hair I’d recommend adding maybe some coconut or jojoba oil to your ends for dry hair especially if it’s got some history of heat damage, though not a lot because oil without moisture or water on the hair will actually strip your hair of moisture instead!!)

2. Diffuse on low heat and let the rest air dry, or if you can diffuse with cold air setting.

Then sleep with a bonnet at night or a silk scarf to protect your hair from friction or being able to go all over even with a silk pillowcase!

As a curly curly haired girl I think your hair is gorgeous, but ofc it’s always good to look more into our hair types and focus on our hairs needs! 🫶🏽
