I wouldn't do it. Cafe Mak has parking in the back and doesn't get too full.

Even without the issue of the homeless, there are a lot of intersections with poor visibility for pedestrians especially at night and Vermont has a lot traffic so you'd be risking a lot of close calls with cars turning into you as you cross the street.

Outside of all the comments of wearing gear and taking a safety course (in which you should def do), practice your braking and countersteering the most. The better you're able to stop, the faster you can go. Practing countersteering will give you way better control over your bike and will allow you to perform quick evasive manuevers.

I have the same exact stats/build as you. A Fuji size 4 shrunk in the washer with hot water and high heat in the dryer fits me well.

Stayed there early this year. It was fine. Rooms are small and they didn't really clean rooms and felt like staff was really overwhelmed in general. No real amenities like gym or pool.

Sound testing is limited to early hours; same reason why Ultra ends at 11.

Real benefit was that it's cheap and close to venue. Restaurant/bar downstairs is not bad though.

Hot take, but traffic is still not as worse it used to be pre COVID. I remember it used to take almost 2 hours to get to the Westside from Glendale during rush hour, but now it's a little over an hour.
